I, ROBOT

The smile
I gave last summer
Out in the sun, dead.
You’d mourn over it
in spring.

Listen:
My lips broke a vein
in full stretch to show
some teeth between them—
Wasted.

Sadly,
the skin coppering
You could see the rust
all over stiff pores
and chin.
